What floral bouquet would match my wedding? I am having an August 2009 wedding. My gown is white, and the bridesmaids dresses are black. What flowers and/or color scheme would match this? I cannot go with lilies due to allergies I am open to a different bouquet for my bridesmaids and myself, or even 3 (bride, MOH and BM). Any help would be great. Thanks

I need a name for a set of TST pottery. Platinum edge w/pink background and centered floral bouquet.? The flowers in the bouquet appear to be anemones and salvias with greenery. They are situated at the bottom of the pottery and are straight up and down - not slanted following the lines of the dish. The pattern is reminiscent of late 1920 and early 1930 patterns.

Preserving a floral bouquet for my wedding.. ? I love the idea of having fresh flowers... but I also wanted to keep my bouquet after we're married. I know it can be preserved but would it look dried out and discolored? I've never done anything like that before. Any ideas? Or anyone done it before?

I need some ideas for a fishing theme funeral bouquet My grandfather past away just about a week ago. His funeral is coming up in about a couple of weeks. How do you make a chocolate bar & candy bouquet? I'm trying to make a candy bouquet for a centerpiece, and I wanted to know how to make one. I bought a flower pot, mini candy bars, Skittles, and many other Halloween candies. But I don't know how to assemble it. I purchased bbq skewers, floral tape, & floral foam (Cones & rectangular shaped foam). I tried putting one together by gluing the skewers to the candy, but for some reason I don't know how to assemble it nicely and I don't know which floral foam to use for something like that. Ten Points for best floral creativity!! Need ideas for fall wedding bouquet!? I am getting married in November. My first thought was burnt orange calla lilies, bicolor roses, and perhaps some dahlias. The roses aren't too pricey but the other two flowers are, and now the florist I have been speaking with is throwing some gawd awful ideas out (collared bouquets... and yellow flowers - bleh!) I'd LOVE to use just the roses but she suggests I use a different flower (an orange lily) in the centerpeice (and to use a tall and not short one). Uhm my head is spinning. What I need are creative ideas using the orange/yellow and red tipped roses and fillers for bouquets and centerpieces. It is a wedding of 70 and the reception will take place in a large home. Yes, big enough to hold 7-8 tables of 10! Pictures are appreciated, ten points for best answer and/or advice! Hmph. Okay.
Does anyone know where I can find a 30" raffia doll in Ottawa? I checked Michaels and they do not have them and Multicraft do not have them in the 30" size. How much are you spending on floral for your wedding? Or how much did you spend? I contacted just 1 florist, she emailed a proposal today. Everything, including decorations for the ceremony, the centerpieces for the reception, the bouquets, bouteineers, flower girl halo, petals, etc. It is about $4800.00. The reception/ceremony venue provides tall trumpet vases and all the linens. Is that average or does that seem a bit much? This is the first one that has sent me a proposal so far.
Difference between a floral designer and a florist? I want to work in the floristry industry when I leave school but I don't know what jobs to think about. At the moment I work part-time at a florist, just basic stuff like cleaning, watering, making some bouquets and little arrangements, taking orders, etc.

It is thin enough to be pierced by the fruit arranged on sticks and will both cover the foam and provide the tissue paper look of a floral bouquet. If you have some hanging over the edges, this can be "fluffed up" once the fruit arrangement has been made.

Bouquet questions 2 questions? We’re having a very small casual ceremony only 4 adults and 2 kids in 18 days and I still haven’t picked out the flowers for my bouquet. I’m wearing a pretty floral dress with both bright (almost fuchsia) flowers and soft pink flowers with a sheer black overlay top, very casual. I want my flowers to match my dress, I know I can get soft pink roses, but what about the bright pink?..what kind of flower is bright pink? …and I don’t want carnations. What is a fabulous way to thank an awesome bridesmaid? My maid of honor was incredible! I thought she would hold a bouquet for me and perhaps throw a shower, but she took being a bridesmaid to a whole new level! Wedding day question...? I am trying to choose my bridal bouquet. I have looked into both real floral bouquets and silk flower ones. Anyone have any feedback on either one...which did you choose, which do you like best??? Etc. THANKS!!!
