what is the difference between islamic patterns and normal patterns?
need this for some art homework, what is the difference between islamic patterns, and patterns in the rest of the world, like floral for example im so confused! need an answer by thursday!

- Islamic patterns usually concentrate on plants and eviromental things ..... they do not encourage doing or creating artworks or sculptures on animals or humans because they afraid later, they will lost on their path or islamic ways and go worshipping that statue or paint a.k.a. plants and humans.......remember moses, when his people create and worship the Golden cow?...... they dont want the same thing happen.. try drawing some beaustiful flowers and all sorts..... you can take example by going to the mosque and see the patterns on the wall and windows.........all of them are flora and plants, right?.....
