how do you get free flowers from floral shops?
I go to a very small and poorly funded charter school, and we want to sell flowers on valentines day to help raise money for a school prom or social. I have heard of people getting free flowers from floral shops when they toss the flowers that never sold. Do they still do that and how I would I go about getting donated flowers from floral shops?

- possibly by advertising the flower shop at your school they will give you some. Some might give you some that are about to die, but very rarely especially with V-day coming up so soon.
- try approaching a local floral shop that will help by providing flowers for you to sell. They may give them to you at a discounted rate wherein you can sell them plus your markup and you keep the profit. You can upsell their business in your school newsletter or similar activity that will provide a little incentive for them to jumjp on board.
